The 2018 Summer Interns

Maurice Hanna is a second year Wilfrid Laurier University student majoring in Criminology. He is part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator with a specific focus on sponsor/vendor outreach. In the future he plans on becoming a lawyer to help the Assyrian community.

Ninos Yomo is a third year McMaster University student majoring in Software Engineering. He is part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator with specific focus on sponsor/vendor outreach. In the future he plans to create a software company that promotes the Assyrian Community. 

Domarena Eliya is a third year McMaster University student majoring in Engineering Technology. She is part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator with specific focus on volunteer outreach and Assyrian culture. In the future she plans to be a Medical Biotechnologist with the aim of improving Healthcare.  

Shemeram Khoshaba is a secondary school student at St. Jean de Brebeuf going into her senior year. She is part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator with specific focus on multimedia and graphic design. In the future she plans to pursue a career in healthcare. 

Subara Yalda is a second year Mohawk College student. She is part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator with specific focus on social media management and marketing. In the future she plans to pursue a career in business field. 

Peter Hirmiz is a secondary student at St. Jean de Brebeuf going into his junior year of high school. He is a part of the Bet Nahrain Assyrian Heritage Centre, as a special events coordinator by working on volunteering/social media, with a specific focus on Assyrian Martyrs Day. In the future he plans to pursue a career computer engineering
